our Santa run in December was a great success. All pupils wore a Santa Hat and ran a long long distance as part of our keeping active project for Actice Schools. The pupils made sure to warm up carefully lead by the yes leaders. Once ready all the pupils set off on their laps of their Santa Run. Many thanks to Ms Dooney for organising the event. Pupils in 5th 6th class are now completing the Run around Europe challenge. Their country to reach is Kosovo! That’s over 3,000km! So far we have over 1,000km complete! Onwards and upwards!

5th 6th Class Confirmation Retreat 2019

Picture
Congratulations to the class of 2018 2019 on receiving the sacrament of Confirmation in Cloonfad Church. They attended a retreat to Ballintubber recently in preparation for the sacrament learning about the fruits of the Holy Spirit, doing a walking tour of the grounds of Ballintubber Abbey and learning some intriguing facts about the Abbey’s history. A great day out was had by all.
